This just in: Townhall.com is reporting that Republicans have infiltrated several polling places in Philly and are attempting to vote. In other areas, poll watchers who were exposed as being Republicans were thrown out before they could make any Obama supporters feel uncomfortable.
The good news is that if you live in the Philadelphia and vote in the 44th Ward, 12th and 13th divisions; 6th Ward, 12th division; or the 32nd Ward, Division 28, these precincts have all been purged of Republicans and have been deemed "voting sanctuaries" where registered and unregistered Democrat voters can cast as many ballots as they want without being glared at.
But if I live in those voting districts, do I still have to go in and vote? Or will they do that for me? Oprah's on.

Makes no difference. Obama is going to win. One way or another. :)

You would think there would be something on the news about an election.
Posted by: Dodger | November 04, 2008 at 02:45 PM
You mean you didn't vote?
Posted by: brandy | November 04, 2008 at 03:46 PM
I was watching the News hour with Jim Lehrer, and some expert said that so far the turn out of new voters, people who are voting for the first time, is the same as in the 2004 election.
About 10%.
She looked sad when she said it.
I guess an Obama win is not such a sure thing after all!
I say,
McCain 286
Obama 252

You can say that again! If we have to run those bastards off the roads on their way to the polls, we'll make it happen!
Change and Hope in 2008! Keep the faith, sister!

Oh stop worrying, you can take it to court. After all, you do with every other aspect.
Posted by: brandy | November 04, 2008 at 05:36 PM
Yes, we libs took 'em to court a dozen times after the last election, and we'll do it again if we have to!

Like omg oprah was talking about sex :O! McSame should've tried that, he might have gotten a few more votes.

Don't worry Larry darling. Obama and his acorn friends have got this election won even if no one legally registered to vote didn't bother.
This is the time of the year when the prison population, the morgue and most of the border towns in Mexico have the swing vote.
And I haven't even mentioned the number that vote more than once in different states.

Hey, excoriated, which round was it that Obama was supposed to go down in? Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....(infinite)

Its as hard for Republicans to vote in Philly now as it was for blacks to vote in Selma in 1960. Maybe we need another voting rights act for a few select northern states like we did for a few select southern states (those that voted for Goldwater in 1964).
