I won't gloat about being FIRST!!!!

Coonass

Who cares about the 'Whitey' comment. Us Muricans are known for calling a spade a spade.

Fist of Etiquette

Let's clear something up right now... Am I supposed to vote for Obama or not? Or are we waiting to see what Hillary does at the convention? There's still plenty of time for people to come to their senses, right?

Lastly, is Nader/Gonzalez at all on the table?

kb

What's particularly funny is that there really are idiots who believe that he really is "anti-American". Or even Reverent Wright for that matter, or which I have yet to see, hear, or read a single line which would indicate such. The mass delusion of the anger-ridden right really does dispossess them of anything even remotely resembling rational thought. It's like asking a crack addict, I mean one from the wealthy suburbs where the drugs come from anyway, to read War and Peace starting at the back while standing on their heads. However, I do think it is worthwhile to keep them around just teach out children what NOT to be like. Plus they make good fodder for intelligent conversation. What does saying "God Damn America" for x,y, and z have to do with being "anti-American"(a Stalinist notion itself)? Someone please tell me.

(W)right.....

"God damn AmeriKKKa" is no doubt a rousing endorsement to someone like you.

Gheys are weird, man.

Devon

KB, you pretty much have written yourself off as anyone that can be remotely seriously...I mean..what could possible marxist Wright have said that was so disparaginjg of his country???

Oh...I don't know...

The problem here is that kb IS a fanatic...and I don't mean in the playful sense...I'm sure he actually believe Daily Kos is well balanced and Keith Olberman is the second coming of Murrow and so on and so forth...

IN otherwords...WHAT have I said to you people here...IGNORE this sick sick man..do not ingage with trolls...and he is a uber troll....we waist good discussion when this drooling foolish no nothing fool interrupts are otherwise salient and enjoyable putdowns of various liberal stupidies!!

God damn you kb. God damn you to hell for everything you have ever done and for everything that you are.

Please explain to me, in 100 words or less, how the above exclamation in any way shape or form, indicates anything but the most passionate love for you and your character.

Yes, we are truly fortunate to have people around like Rev. Wright, who make rational arguments that are not based on emotion of any kind, to show us ReiKKKwingers how to stop being so full of anger and hate.

Since we love him so much, please all join me in saying, as a token of our deep appreciation...

God Damn Reverend Wright!!!!

DonnieDarko

kb- It actually has nothing to do with what Reverend Wright said. It has everything to do with the fact that Obama did not get up and walk the fuck out of that "church" the minute he heard that sort of hateful bile coming from the preacher's mouth.

You sure just demonstrated how much better informed and well read you are.

So let's see: If I say goddamn Britain for its history of slave trade, or its history of exploiting countries it conquered, goddamn Britain for drawing a line around Northern Ireland instead of giving all 32 counties back (in which case we wouldn't have had the mess we had for 30 years recently), goddamn Britain for slavishly following GW into Iraq ... it follows that I HATE my country?

Or does it perchance follow that I love my country and wish to hell it hadn't made such bad choices.

dark force

"It's like asking a crack addict ... to read War and Peace starting at the back while standing on their heads."

Yup.
It seems that the word "patriotic" in America means 'never questioning anything whatsoever one's country does'.

Interesting concept. And odd in the extreme. I suspect that if the 'right' here read a lot more British blogs, they'd find that both bloggers and blog commentators spent much of their time analyzing, dissecting, and debating their own country's successes AND mistakes and failures. Not indiscriminately blowing trumpets. That would be considered unproductive and a waste of energy.

Justa Joe

Let's all follow England's slide into oblivion.

Bush4Ever

Reverend Wright...of all the pastors in all the curches in all of AmeriKKKa to pick from, The Black Messiah, ObaMessiah, had to go and pick a ninny.

Devon

I see that KB has morphed into the word nazi darkforce ....

Again..people, it is so much funner when we ignore the resident nazi's.....afterall, this website is dedicated to making fun of them..

And Irish, KB, Darkforce, et al certainly do not disappoint...

Right out of the Daily Kos/Dem Underground swill to be sure....

Now..let's get back to worshipping the black 'messiah'!!!

okaydokay

Devon, you need to read more. Then you'll know how to write plurals.

Or else it's true what they say about standard of education sliding badly in the USA.

Typical White Idiot

Ace says he’s a goddamned deliberate liar. He’s right. But hey, they’re just looking out for their pal the Obamessiah, and making sure he isn’t “Swiftboated,” right?

The NYT helps perpetuate the lie. Which ought to surprise exactly, precisely no one. They have their orders, after all.

Typical White Idiot

Still more, and never mind Johnson. He's on his way to immortal debunktitude. It's Nedra "The Vlassic" Pickler who has has her marching orders and who is forever chasing that Pulitzer dream.

You absolutely need to read this, in case you didn't follow the links. And pass it on...for the obvious reasons. There's nuance and there is truth.

You decide.

Typical White Idiot

Oh, while I'm here - hope you all had a good Friday the 13th.

All I know is that it is Saturday teh 14th that scares the hell outta me.

Well, okiedorky, you would know about falling standards in the schools...you're a teacher, so that makes you part of the problem.

Yes.

""God damn AmeriKKKa" is no doubt a rousing endorsement to someone like you."

Has nothing to do with "anti-Americanism". Or if it does, what? Answer the question and quit digging at your butt.

"Gheys are weird, man."

Yes, to a drooler, asking a simple question would be considered weird. In the REAL world it's quite normal though. And we have things which follow the questions called "answers". Just ask anyone on the playground to explian to you. Let me know when you've learned and answered the question.

GREAT! I'll be looking forward to you being the first one on this site in the past several years to prove it.

"I mean..what could possible marxist Wright have said that was so disparaginjg of his country???"

What does saying something disparaging of his country have to do with "anti-Americanism"? Not one damn thing. People often call other people far worse things than this, as my coach used to do, and he loved his team. Saying "Fuck America's stances on slavery" is perfectly appropriate and should be sone much more often. I mean, if one cares about making things better. And most especially if referring to some of the more depraved aspects. Where did you get the dumbass notion that someone criticizing THEIR country has a damn thing to do with their caring or not caring about their country? Grown up in the U.S.S.R. or North Korea? Sure sounds like it. But then again much of the right in the U.S. is only a fraction of a degree from similar totalitarian ideas and desires anyway. Did you take lemming classes somewhere which told you that criticizing your own country, especially when it should be criticized, is not patriotic, or is un-American or something? I DO hope you are aware that the notion you're putting forth here IS totalitarian at its finest.

"Oh...I don't know..."

Obviously. You should learn and come back when you have. Perhaps a coach at the YMCA could spend the day with you teaching you.

"The problem here is that kb IS a fanatic..."

Huh?! I'm a fanatic because you are a totalitarian and I'm not? Hmmm...That's an interesting twist on reality. Let's get this straight: If I'm a coach, and I scream and yell at my team when they fuck up, and then point out the things which they should be doing which will repair the fuckups, then it's evidence that I'm "anti-team" and a "fanatic"? Interesting. I really did think that one would probably need to get into North Korea somehow to meet a real live specimen of an indoctrinated soul. And here we have someone walking the streets in the "Home of the brave" (Brave meaning either the Indian Braves from whom the land was stolen after one of the manhy genocides, or the brave who fought against the British, the other criminals jocking for the stolen land, and who fought during their crime. You know, sort of like some guy taking on 30 police outside the bank he's just robbed) who is just as indoctrinated, actually probably more as the North Koreans are probably at least partially aware that their government is trying to do this, as most anyone they're always whining about and fearing.

"and I don't mean in the playful sense...I'm sure he actually believe Daily Kos is well balanced and Keith Olberman is the second coming of Murrow and so on and so forth..."

Rather than lamely trying to guess what I believe, why don't we just ask you to demonstrate that Kos is NOT balanced or telling the truth about something. You prove that they've lied about something and I'll say that they've lied as well. Not problem at all from this side. Been asking for it for years in relation to the works of Chomsky and haven't had a single response yet. THIS, my friend, is called evidence. It's evidence that the lameass whiners who attempt to rag on him, even though they can't really even do this right since they know nothing about his work, never come up with anything. Most rational folks who actually read the materials involved don't have to try and prove someone like Chomsky, Kos, or whoever right. You folks do it for them by demonstrating that you can't prove them wrong. Or for that matter, even read them most of the time. Hey, since you're hear, may I ask you which books of Chomsky's you've read? Just doing sort of a survey.

"IN otherwords...WHAT have I said to you people here...IGNORE this sick sick man..do not ingage with trolls..."

No evidence of "sickness" by anyone other than yourself as far as I can see, and as I have demonstrated. And I see no evidence of "trolling" either. But of course your type simply refers to those who disagree as trools automatically. I'd say that there's much more evidence here that you're the trool because you have proved nothing and just babbled out a few unsubstaniated charges, whereas I have shown this to be the case. You're boring. You're pseudo-patriotic babble is boring as well. Go read a few books and come back when you can answer simple questions or make arguments.

"and he is a uber troll...."

Evidence?

"we waist good discussion"

I'm not interested in your measurements. And "good discussion"? There is most definitely little evidence to support this statement. But I'll allow you a few minutes away from your own trolling to supply the evidence.

"when this drooling foolish no nothing fool interrupts are otherwise salient and enjoyable putdowns of various liberal stupidies!!"

My butt itches. Did he say anything relevant yet?

"God damn you kb."

If she wishes.

"God damn you to hell for everything you have ever done and for everything that you are."

Uhhh....Let's try and understand where this is coming from or going.
1) What are you talking about specifically?
2) What do you think I am?

"Please explain to me, in 100 words or less, how the above exclamation in any way shape or form, indicates anything but the most passionate love for you and your character."

"Love for my character"? Who's interested in "love for character"? What does this have to do with anything I've said? And I don't recall seeing that Wright said anything remotely close to this at all. But if you have the quote, along with the context, I'd be more than happy to look at it. I mean, I'm sure as hell not going to take you folks word on interpreting something. This has been demonstrated time and time again not to be sensible at all. That being said, you are referring to a person, me, in your analogy. Wright is referring to HIS country. Not really the same at all, but we can overlook that a little for now. My analogy of the team is a little more appropriate as the entity being referred to is more of a team i.e., country. However, were the coach to say this about his team, then he should probably either try and change his team to make it better, or find another job. Were a player to say it about his team, he should probably either try and change it, or find another team. However, in ALL of my years of reading, studying, tlking to people from all over the world, I'd have to say that I've seen VERY few cases where I would consider someone to be "anti-American". And this even includes many folks which the U.S. deems to be it's arch rivals. Castro, Chavez, etc...None of them are anti-American at all if by American you mean the people of the country. That's MY meaning. If you mean the policies of the government, especially which the people don't agree with, the majority that is, or that they've been duped into believing, as with the Iraq fiasco/tragedy, then perhaps you see things a little differently. As far as that goes, one only need take about 5 minutes of research to find out, regarding the two examples I've just named, Castro and Chavez, that they've said on MANY occasions that they like the American people. However, for the indoctrinated, such statements just don't seem to register. "(finger in nose) Huh? He said bad things about America, but said he likes the people. I don't understand. Oh, I guess THAT'S why that kb guy calls me a pseudo-patriotic totalitarian fanatic."
