The Exorcist

"If you cannot wrap your skulls around these concepts then you are a lost cause."

Lost Cause = Toe-tag Liberal

feelthelove

I am not going to defend the US to you assclowns because you still don't get it. Go spread your troll shit somewhere else. Time stamps being what they are, looks like we have another sockpuppet.

feelthelove

You not only give them 80% of your income, you pay them to work there.

feelthelove

x3's crap is just that. I refuse to read or respond to another libtard sockpuppet that can only get its jollies by professing a moral high ground which they don't have. And you call yourself pagans!

feelthelove

They're not allowed to talk to one another and some shithead here suggests they're TORTURING ONE ANOTHER?

What kind of fucking site is this??

Christ almighty. Weirdos and maniacs and monsters - and all American. And many of them call themselves CHRISTIANS. Fucking hell.

Posted by: seamróg | June 20, 2008 at 09:33 AM

Beginning sentences with conjunctions, are we? Not all of us here are American, asshole. Of course fucking hell would be preferable to fucking megatwat, but hey, all in a day's work for you NGO whores.
No rebuttal of any kind, no response to anything except name calling. And you call yourselves intelligent. Go troll on Nora's site.

feelthelove

Lessee...talking to one another. Now why, with your limited pea brains, would that not happen?
Could it be that they would be planning something? Single cells are not the same as solitary, libtards.
You really need to read beyond the spin.

Sluts

Im.mad.as.HELL!

I guess I struck a cord with my comment about who is doing what to who. Just further proving the point about not being "confused by fact" projections.

Go away unless you are able to project satirically, at least. Is my hate speech bothering you? Because your prejudice and language is bothering me.

Oh, and wash your mouth with soap.

seamróg

That's the bit I love ...

Torture, physical and phsychological, is A-OK and your president can fight to use it. He even vetoes a bill to ban it.

But "wash your mouth with soap" when someone says 'fuck'.

Fucking unbelievable.

You lot need shrinks as much as any tortured detainees. But for entirely different reasons. You're racist and bigoted thugs who don't even believe that Muslims are people.

To you, they're not people's fathers and brothers and sons -- even when they've been NEITHER charged NOR convicted of any crimes, nor any evidence presented, and released STILL WITHOUT ANY charge or explanation. They're just animals to be abused and their brains destroyed.

And you're downright sickening. Inhuman.
But you have the nerve to waffle about the "religion of peace" as if you had a bloody clue what you're talking about, and weren't the biggest hypocrites on the planet.

And worst of all, you have some notion that you're morally superior to them. I have news for you:

You better think again.

seamróg

"How do we know you really do work on other nations such as Iran and Cuba?"

Who gives a shit whether YOU believe it or not? WE KNOW what we do.

I suppose you think we lie awake at night tearing our hair out, sweating, tossing and turning, worrying that you right wing assholes don't believe us? Fuck off moron, and get some sense.

DonnieDarko

But we are morally superior to them. We don't fuck goats. Well maybe except for the Exorcist. And then only after he has been drinking. ;-)

And our scripture does not have instructions on what to do whit man-fucked animals (i.e. if the man came you cannot eat the animal it is unclean.)

DonnieDarko

Damn, don't you have anything else to do?

seamróg

"We do not approve of abuse as a society, trying to project the blame for acts committed by a few onto an entire society is irrational."

Yeah, zoooooomer, that's why your President vetoed a bill to ban torture. We 'know'.

Now go and read some FACTS about what's going on and what your bloody government has been doing -- while the assholes here clap them on the back. Me, I've had enough for now. This place smells.

Dodger

This thread needs more Chomsky.

DonnieDarko

Chomsky makes me wet.

I missed this gem:

"Everytime it has been proved that one of our own was guilty of taking advantage of prisoners, the perpetrators have been punished.

If you cannot wrap your skulls around these concepts then you are a lost cause."

Posted by: zooommer | June 20, 2008 at 10:27 AM

No, the weirdos HERE on BB are lost causes. And no, the perpetrators have NOT been punished.

"The two-star general who led an Army investigation into the horrific detainee abuse at Abu Ghraib has accused the Bush administration of war crimes and is calling for accountability.

"In his 2004 report on Abu Ghraib, then-Major General Anthony Taguba concluded that "numerous incidents of sadistic, blatant, and wanton criminal abuses were inflicted on several detainees." He called the abuse "systemic and illegal."

"Now, in a preface to a Physicians for Human Rights report based on medical examinations of former detainees, Taguba adds an epilogue to his own investigation.

"The new report', he writes, 'tells the largely untold human story of what happened to detainees in our custody when the Commander-in-Chief and those under him authorized a systematic regime of torture. This story is not only written in words: It is scrawled for the rest of these individual's lives on their bodies and minds... In order for these individuals to suffer the wanton cruelty to which they were subjected, a government policy was promulgated to the field whereby the Geneva Conventions and the Uniform Code of Military Justice were disregarded. The UN Convention Against Torture was indiscriminately ignored. . . .

After years of disclosures by government investigations, media accounts, and reports from human rights organizations, there is no longer any doubt as to whether the current administration has committed war crimes. The only question that remains to be answered is whether those who ordered the use of torture will be held to account'."

[Washington Post - possibly/probably not reported on Fox.]

You should be utterly ashamed of yourselves, your government, and your president.

This place smells.

It's your upper lip your smelling. I told you to wash your mouth out and the smell would go away.

You obviously do not know what your talking about as far as the RoP. Does religion scare you? You project on Christians what Islam is naturally. And yes I am superior to you based upon language used.

Talking to tolls who don't get a satire site is OVER AND OUT.

seamróg

And after ALL that, yeah ... they probably "tortured each other". Why? Because they're Muslims, apparently. Never charged with any crime of any kind - but Muslims.

You bigoted racist animals.

NOW, I've had enough for tonight. This place stinks to high heaven.

zooommer

Yeah, zoooooomer, that's why your President vetoed a bill to ban torture. We 'know'.
seamróg

It is a bit difficult to ban something when no one will define what is being banned.

That is not what I was discussing though, I was discussing prisoner abuse rather than torture. Most people agree that torture (the act of inflicting excruciating pain, as punishment or revenge, as a means of getting a confession or information, or for sheer cruelty) is useless as a method for getting reliable information from someone. The subject of such treatment will say anything to make the activity stop. Just ask John McCain, he confessed to crimes that he did not commit.

If people were beaten or anally penetrated or whatever other tortures were claimed above, it was not officially sanctioned. Such activities are evil, immoral and counterproductive.

Me, I've had enough for now. This place smells.

We have pretty much determined that it smells better around here after all of the liberals have left.

okaydokay

"We have pretty much determined that it smells better around here after all of the liberals have left."

I'm sure it does. Nobody likes being faced point-blank with their own inhumanity and hypocrisy, like you guys have. They sweat, among other things.

okaydokay

Oh, zooooooomer, "prisoner abuse" is a euphemism for torture - used by a compliant press. You'll learn. Read up on the subject.

No, they are different activities. Torture is conducted by interrogators trying to extract information and abuse is conducted by guards getting "revenge" or just having "fun". What happened at Abu Graib was prisoner abuse and the guilty parties were prosecuted.

I'm sure it does. Nobody likes being faced point-blank with their own inhumanity and hypocrisy, like you guys have. They sweat, among other things.
okaydokay

Nobody here is being inhumane or hypocritic. I think we all agree that torture and abuse are evil and should not be tolerated. Where we disagree is how accurate the media reports have been and whether or not the government of The U.S. has been guilty of allowing or condoning illegal activities. I don't believe that they have and you do.

... like you guys have. ...

Once again you are assuming the problems of a few are to be found in all members of our society, they aren't.

... They sweat, among other things.

The only things that make me sweat are the weather and working out at the gym or on my bike.

Have a good weekend all!!

You obviously haven't been here long. :)

I think if you read the archives, you'll find out otherwise, zooooooooooomer.

Have a great weekend!

More from the Washington Post:

Pamela Hess of the Associated Press has more on the report, which resulted from "the most extensive medical study of former U.S. detainees published so far" and "found evidence of torture and other abuse that resulted in serious injuries and mental disorders."

So if war crimes were committed, who's responsible?

In today's installment of a major McClatchy Newspapers series on the U.S. detention system, Tom Lasseter writes: "The framework under which detainees were imprisoned for years without charges at Guantanamo and in many cases abused in Afghanistan wasn't the product of American military policy or the fault of a few rogue soldiers.

"It was largely the work of five White House, Pentagon and Justice Department lawyers who, following the orders of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, reinterpreted or tossed out the U.S. and international laws that govern the treatment of prisoners in wartime, according to former U.S. defense and Bush administration officials.

"The Supreme Court now has struck down many of their legal interpretations. It ruled last Thursday that preventing detainees from challenging their detention in federal courts was unconstitutional ..."
