"The point of the surge was to quickly move the Iraqi government and Iraqi people. That is only now beginning to happen, and I believe in large measure because the Iraqi government, they watch us, they listen to us. I know very well that they follow everything that I say. And my commitment to begin withdrawing our troops in January of 2009 is a big factor, as it is with Senator Obama, Senator Edwards, those of us on the Democratic side. It is a big factor in pushing the Iraqi government to finally do what they should have been doing all along."
- President Hillary on Tim Russert, explaining how it's not boots on the ground that are winning the unwinnable war in Iraq, but rather her constant calls for our immediate retreat. Just think, if Bush had surrendered to Iraq a couple of years ago, we'd all be celebrating victory right now.
It really pays to have a strategy.
"I know very well that they follow everything that I say.'
Say what? The Iraqi government and Iraqi people are all registered Democrats?
Holy shit! We are going to lose the war. This woman has vision, even through tear-filled eyes!

Hell froze over. It snowed in Baghdad.

I can certainly see why they named Mount Everest after her.
Posted by: Fist of Etiquette | January 14, 2008 at 08:57 PM
Uh,
In light of this, I feel we should just surrender in Iraq.
Posted by: Dodger | January 14, 2008 at 11:19 PM
Well said, Dodger?
Fear not, though. Even if the surge does work, Iraq does become stable, and our baby-killing troops are allowed to return home without their tails tucked between their legs, there will eventually be a period of conflict in Iraq just because it's in the Near East. If that happens on a democrat's watch, we'll be able to sit comfortably on our high horses and say, "What are we supposed to do? If Dumbya had only finished the job he started, we wouldn't be in this mess!"
That's the beauty of democratic politics. If things get hairy, lob a few cruise missiles and claim victory. If they don't improve, blame your predecessor who actually tried to finish it (but didn't because of the weak will of the international coalition.)

When Hillary wins she should make a new cabinet post: Dypartmynt of Persyns and exclude all pink men.
Posted by: Bush4Ever | January 15, 2008 at 05:06 AM
So, let me get this straight: Hillary said the surge is working because of her strong
committment to get the troops out?
ummmm...sure.

We would have won the vietnam war( John Kerry fought there, you know) if only we left Vietnam in 1966.
Posted by: Dave | January 15, 2008 at 07:41 AM
John Kerry fought and lied in Vietnam? Was he there at Krimmas time? Did he sing Jengle Bells in a fashion reminiscent of Bengus Crosby?
Knowing this I would surely have voted for him!

If GW bombs Iran, he'll leave both Iraq AND Iran for Hillary or Obama to sort out.
What a total shit Bush is. And never any danger from either Iraq or Iran to the USA.
Bollox to GW Bush.

Ah, so! The recipie for victory is to never go into battle in the first place! Wow. That's just so damn crazy it just might work!
Thanks Hill! You're getting my vote, "man"

"Why the hostility toward us?"
Because your Gross Hypocrite of a president has the impertinence to preach to the world about 'democracy and freedom' out of one side of his mouth.
Meanwhile he approves torture, rendition, illegal invasion, black sites, illegal weapons use, is manufacturing reasons to bomb Iran, and ok's abuses of human rights, out of the other.
He and Cheney are two of the greatest shits on the planet. And all you shitheads 100% support them. That's why.
Posted by: megapix | January 15, 2008 at 12:06 PM
'Democracy and freedom' aren't bad things to preach about MP. There are much worse i.e. killing all the infidels for instance.
And of yes, us American's are big time torturers. We practice penis ridicule and force Islamic freedom fighters to listen to Britney Spears and Yoko Ono. Unlike the brave MUSLEM terrorists who saw infidel heads off with dull rusty machettes, now that is not torture.
And because the world has chosen to condemn our heinious acts, we have been forced to hand over our prisoners to their home countries where they do not torture.
There was no illegal invasion! Blah, blah, blah. Ah fuck it. There is no talking sense to your kind.
Posted by: DonnieDarko | January 15, 2008 at 12:32 PM
Ignoring your worn-out, nonsensical characterization about illegal invasions, illegal weapons, peace-loving Iran being a victim, yadda yadda yadda...
Even if any of those arguments had any merit whatsoever, so what? We're no threat to you. If you want us to mind our own business in international affairs, you should do the same.

Hmm...
Do you really think you're going to accomplish anything by posting on this forum? Yours seems like an exercise in masochism.
Just an observation.
Posted by: Tristan | January 15, 2008 at 12:32 PM
What a total whore megatwat is. Hillary's body count has never been addressed. Hillary sort anything
out? That's rich. She ordered the bombing of Kosovo after she found her Slick Willie had been
mouthed by Monica. We were there for ten years. Tell me twat, what is the difference in a war that
a leftard amoral president like Clinton starts, and one that Bush starts?
Hm?
I will tell you the correct answer when I come back, you stupid slut.

Tristan, she has been told this. Countless times. And she persists for her own reasons....mainly because
of revenge and she doesn't think BlameBush is funny. She adds nothing. We are perfectly content to leave
leftwingers alone...not because we can't engage them in discussion, but because there is usually no discussion; just shrillness. And this isn't a forum; it is a satire site.

That photo is a keeper, MB.
Does anyone have that semi-famous shot of Hillary with a dick? I wanted to use it for my Crying Game post but couldn't find it when I needed it.
I will redistribute as much of the hard-working people's wealth as I can to anyone who can come up with that photo.

As a Progressyve, I need to lead with my feelings and do something to show my deep hurt
and anguish that you didn't recognize this as a satire blog; on the otter heiny, your post was a great segue into satire.
