Come on folks! We're progressyves here. The concept of, "innocent until proven guilty," only applies to suspected terrorists!

Murtha is a hero for condemning those Marines before the investigation was even finished!

Get with the program! Murtha was just speaking truth to power!

You know what's really funny? You'll believe anything you can find on the internet that condemns us and our president and our country. You're freakin' clueless, but you really believe you know better than we do. I find that hilarious...but sad.

Now, it's time for you to moveon.org.

Bye, irish.

The Exorcist

"It's going to be this way for a long time"

Oh, I'm the one living in dream land, yet Bush is THE president and Thompson is next. Oh wait! That's a fairy-tale, it's going to Hillary, right?

HA HA HA HA! YOU'RE A PUSSY WITH NOTHING TO LIVE FOR AND I AM YOUR MASTER! HA HA HA HA! SHINE MY SHOES, BITCH! AND START PRACTICING SAYING IT NOW

PREZ-O-DENT THOMPSON!

HA HA HA HA!!

Try your HA HA HA with your head missing Exorcist.
Come on warrior! We're so IMPRESSED!
Give it up for Cheney and Big Oil!

Biggest coward always has the biggest voice, Exorcist. Nobody brags like you on this board, ergo, nobody is a bigger coward. Yellow to the core.

sonetlumiere

And most likely gay too, given your obsession with back ends.

Who is this sonetlumiere? He sounds Phrench. Is he one of those cheese-eating surrender monkeys? Is he angry because his Renault got torched by some "disaffected youths?"

And Exy in no way "looks the part", so he's safe from OBL's henchmen. Put away your muslim wet dream of beheadings and go back to your old standby of sucking sailors.

"And polls in the US show that very few are of like mind with you these days."

Really..aside from the fact that polls concerning public opinion are about as useful as "tits on a bore hog" to use the words of LBJ, I'd like to take this opportunity to explain why America is, and will always be the most feared country in the world.

First, my definition of 'American' is not some dweeb sitting in his apartment, trolling blogs and posting antagonistic remarks so as to ease the pain of a troubled past...I mean, let's be honest with each other.

I will use the roughest defintion I can come up with...one that I believe any real American can relate to.

They are usually multi-generational in citizenship.
They fully understand the cost of their citizenship.
Most of them are educated, and have a high regard for American history.
They don't expect an entity of any type to be responsible for them..or their family.
Most of them have actual history of service of some sort to this country, often times as military personel, law enforcement, etc.

Most of them are well armed.

Now, with that as a backdrop, it becomes crystal clear as to why the car-bombings haven't started here...
It's the same exact reason why no country has successfully invaded America, nor will they ever.

In just about every little house, in every little hamlet in this quiet, peaceful land is a closet with a shotgun, and a .22 caliber rifle or pistol.

Now if there are only fifty-million people in America that fit that description, I'd say it would be unwise for all the countries in the world to mass together and try to invade and dispose of us. It would be sheer insanity.

Other than that, we have watched as people of a more progressyve slant go about the business of lysing themselves with abstract thought..(which incidently, it has already been thunk) and activities with great amusement.

Get over it, we are a free country..and you'd have to kill all of us, and our children to extinguish it, only to find us 'back in your face' concerning your ludicrous broken wing mentality.

If the idea that we have brought our sons and daughters up with a certain zeal about confronting ones enemies seems distasteful to you, it might be that you have mistaken 'casual observance' of heritage in action for actual experience.

Most liberals are like single cell protozoa. Most conservatives are like striated muscle cells. You figure it out.

Semanticleo

"Most of them are educated, and have a high regard for American history."

How'd you miss that bus, 'real american'?

JannyMae

What is it with this trend of liberidiots quoting poll results as evidence? I'm afraid I don't see the logic in, "you're wrong because a majority of people disagree with you, according to an opinion poll."

I guess when you have no facts, you have to make things up, and copy and paste crap from others who agree with you.

I'll stick with basing my opinions on actual evidence, thank you.

csason

Clump o' Semen says :

"How'd you miss that bus, 'real american'?"

You've wounded me so deeply .. my very self-perception has been altered forever.. Those courses I was thinking about taking..well FUCK THAT !! I'm gonna pull a Cho mask out of my ass, buddy !!! How do you feel now ??

You just callously cast your castable comments about like no one will ever be injured ?? What kind of person are you ?? Don't you realize what kind of effect your words and actions have on others ?? Don't you care ??

I think that inside that tough exterior is a real person. A person who has feelings, thoughts, ideas, fantasies... hallucinations, delusions..and several
obssesive/compulsive disorders, BUT I could be wrong.

I'm not offended that you are so self-absorbed you believe (i before e except after c) you are the only 'really' educated person on the planet.
Likewise, I don't think I am the only one that uses ADHD to their advantage.
You don't really believe everything you read, do you ??? If so, please read the Mormon Book of Prophesy..

Thanks, Good nite and God Bless

sonetlumiere

My definition of 'American' used not to be some dweeb sitting in his apartment, writing crap on a shitty, bigoted, pro-violence, website like this one. It used not to be. Now I wonder.

Now, with that as a backdrop, it becomes crystal clear as to why the car-bombings haven't started here...

No, they started with the twin towers. And next time it won't be car bombs either.

If the idea that we have brought our sons and daughters up with a certain zeal about confronting ones enemies seems distasteful to you

Everyone wants to confront their genuine enemies. But to allow yourselves be lied to and conned into attacking a country and causing the deaths of at least 500,000 if its innocent citizens in order to get your country's hands on its oil and build permanent bases there makes you nothing more than willfully ignorant, base, selfish, pariahs.

*IF* a country more powerful that the USA attacked you to get its hands on your natural resources you would be the first to start screaming about international laws, and grabbing guns and knives. But you have the nerve to bad-mouth Iraqi nationalists who dare to do the same? And talk of their deaths and the deaths of their children in Exorcist's terms???

Meanwhile allowing your greedy politicians to lull you with false talk of them all being "Al Qaeda", who will purportedly attack you at home if you do not stay in Iraq ...

What utter and ignorant rubbish.

And how pathetic of you to believe them. You believed their loony lies about why you were going in, and now you believe their similarly loony lies about why it's necessary to stay.

'Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia' is a separate entity that did not exist before you invaded that country. And Al Qaeda (outside Iraq) still exists. You are not immune. You are simply fools.

csason

You're a Grand Ol Flag, you're a high Flying flag !! and FOREVER in Peace may you wave..

You're the emblem of, the land I love !! the Home of the Free and the Brave !!!

Every heart beats true for the Red, White and Blue..where there's never a boast or a brag..

Should auld acquaintance be forgot ? Keep your eye on the Grand Ol Flag !!!

(spoken) there's a feeling, thats..er ahh reeling, when I see Ol Red White and Blue..der dah.. deee umm Keep your Eye on the Grand Ol Flag !!

what a great song.

History will teach us nothing

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

It is part of the general pattern of misguided policy that our country is now geared to an arms economy which was bred in an artificially induced psychosis of war hysteria and nurtured upon an incessant propaganda of fear.

Our government has kept us in a perpetual state of fear - kept us in a continuous stampede of patriotic fervor - with the cry of grave national emergency.

Of all the enemies to public liberty, war is perhaps the most to be dreaded because it comprises and develops the germ of every other.

The power to declare war, including the power of judging the causes of war, is fully and exclusively vested in the legislature.

The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home.

The loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or imagined, from abroad.

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.

The executive has no right, in any case, to decide the question, whether there is or is not cause for declaring war.

The occupation and robbery of a nation occurs under the illusion of freeing its citizens from brutal oppression.

The tyrant always talks as if he's preserving the best interests of his people when he actually acts to undermine them.

Patriotism lies not in blind obedience to authority, but in the desire to search for the truth.

A tyrant has succeeded in his search for absolute power when his own people fear to question his actions.

Power is usurped from the people, first by implementing fear, then it is maintained by slandering as 'unpatriotic' those who refuse submission.

Speaking of the flag:

Stars and Stripes Forever
by John Philip Sousa

Let martial note in triumph float
And liberty extend its mighty hand
A flag appears 'mid thunderous cheers,
The banner of the Western land.
The emblem of the brave and true
Its folds protect no tyrant crew;
The red and white and starry blue
Is freedom's shield and hope.
Other nations may deem their flags the best
And cheer them with fervid elation
But the flag of the North and South and West
Is the flag of flags, the flag of Freedom's nation.

Hurrah for the flag of the free!
May it wave as our standard forever,
The gem of the land and the sea,
The banner of the right.
Let despots remember the day
When our fathers with mighty endeavor
Proclaimed as they marched to the fray
That by their might and by their right
It waves forever.

Let eagle shriek from lofty peak
The never-ending watchword of our land;
Let summer breeze waft through the trees
The echo of the chorus grand.
Sing out for liberty and light,
Sing out for freedom and the right.
Sing out for Union and its might,
O patriotic sons.
Other nations may deem their flags the best
And cheer them with fervid elation,
But the flag of the North and South and West
Is the flag of flags, the flag of Freedom's nation.

Hurrah for the flag of the free.
May it wave as our standard forever
The gem of the land and the sea,
The banner of the right.
Let despots remember the day
When our fathers with might endeavor
Proclaimed as they marched to the fray,
That by their might and by their right
It waves forever.
