I return from my annual Yoga Redeployment to find the world crumbling all around me. The Shrub, it seems, has been as busy as a fascist beaver. California is burning, thanks to his refusal to ratify Kyoto. 10,000 inner-city blacks are dead in Kansas because of his illegal and immoral war in Iraq. Bush’s Fascist Bureau of Ethnic Cleansing is rounding up former Yugoslavian terrorists in New Jersey (what part of the word “former” doesn’t that stupid Chimp understand?), and to top it all off, my beloved France has now fallen under the jackboot of U.S. hegemony.
In the recent French SE-lections, the beautiful and naturally pungent Segolene Royal, who ran on a strongly “I wipe my derriere with the U.S. flag” platform, was soundly defeated by Nicolas Sarkozy, a man who was photographed on numerous occasions NOT wiping his derriere with the U.S. flag. Alarming behavior, indeed. Certainly not what you’d expect from a French leader. If the world looks to Canada for “moral leadership” as Al Gore says, then France is a veritible mecca of progressive thinking. Yet like Canada, France has chosen an ultra-conservative lapdog of the Bush junta to lead them down the path to destruction. This doesn’t bode well for Europe, nor for our own Presidential elections. After all, if a proud. America-hating socialist can’t win in an enlightened nation such as France, then what chance does Hillary have here in the land that time forgot?
first.

Well, we know Hillary will be spitting on France now. It's ruined. There will be a wave of disaffected French celebrities, Johnny Depp among them who will be seeking asylum and jobs here.

I'M SHOCKED that all this attention is showered on the new French Poodles sitting the laps of Bush and Cheney. We KNEW that would happen. Bush could not stand all of progressive Europe, with their sumptious pensions plans for not doing much but drinking wine and looking gorgeous in swimwear, the thought he would be dissed yet again.
It's a shame we can rise up. Teresa Hines Kerry was out shot at progressivism but people made fun of her earthy aromoa, as many a French woman has, with our pent up sexual energy on the French can relive from our Puritan past.
This, like so many of the crimes of W.Monkey.Bush, is a crime of high cabal proportions.
This imperialist "nation" of SOME of The People has overthrown peaceful indigenous peoples like the sandinistas and so it was only a matter of time that the CIA got bored with being a bunch of numbers geeks fiddling with paper all day and thowing darts at Osama's head on the wall and now are engineering defeat of the political asperations of legitimate people's.
I think the people of France were duped by busybody businesses people who whored themselves out to the corporate connections here on the Evil side of the pond.
How sad. Bush needs to give the statue of Liberty back to the French people. He dosen't care about it, and they need is desperately.
But enough of that--
I think we need to start a petition--and a massive civil class action law suit-- to free the Fort Dix Six, Muslim men unfairly denied a fair hearing in our nation's courts, and unfairly fingered by a weenie snitch geek who works in some video store no doubt polishing his nob to groaning women in between looking for Barney videos for middle class brats in New Jewsey. Such invasion of privacy, the little creep, is uncalled for and UN-KON-Stitutional in any case (or does Bush use that for toilet paper to protest Crowberries?).
Paintball is fun for us who don't like real guns and need to feel manly and the Dix Six were entitled to their rights to yell Allah o Ackbar just like Harris and Clebald yelled "hell fu*****" yeah" when they got off to Uzi fire.
It is time to stop the Surveillence Society.

I detect the foul stench of a Diebold electronic voting machine.

certainly this is a major setback for Sheryl's 'one sheet' push.. Move over, Scotty, there's a new dog in town. If we all join together, lock arms, and try real hard, maybe we can push Hillary over the edge...

Funny, that while European nations already HAD Hillary/WalterReed Care for healthcare, they don't want a Hillary!
Like that uber-fascist meat-slicing velociraptor Ann Coulter said today in her latest clawed hate scratching, Hollywood types threatening to leave the USA now have less and less nations to choose from where other cons are not in office.
I love it.
Oh did you dig this, Csason?
notice how C-BS reported the names of the
Dix Six:
CBS News Radio Identifies Ft Dix Terrorists as "Eastern Europeans" . . . - Names of suspects: Mohamad Shnewer, Dritan Duka, Eljvir Duka, Shain Duka, Derdar Tatar and Agron Abdullahu.
I once knew a grocer from Romania--his first name was NOT mohammad....

In light of this, I feel we should just surrender in Iraq.

"...The catastrophe in question is an electronic voting catastrophe of the kind that occurred in a number of counties in America during this past November's mid-term elections..."
sounds like Rainbow's Phrench offshoot.

Well, I checked with my conspiracy theorist friends at one of our now daily meetings (it got to be too much of a hassle to meet hourly, since there are so many conspiracies and so little time) and the French
Election Connection wasn't even on the radar.

Does this mean that what France says is no longer the official 'World Opinion' on various matters?

Zut Alors!

As a progressive, whenever people that I support do get voted in I feel as if the people have spoken and it proves that democracy works. But In this case, I feel that this illegal, immoral "election" is DOA.
Come on, the French people didn't rush to the polls and vote the right way after Royal said "French youths will burn Paris down if I'm not elected" We know that the french always do what they are told to do after they are threatned. They didn't this time. I smell a stinky arm-pit smelly rat. and his name is KKKARL Rove!
As they say in France: Ce doit être le défaut des juifs! Juifs hors de la France !

This bad news makes me want to hit the streets and torch some cars!
Posted by: Surrender now! | May 10, 2007 at 06:36 AM
You mean...the Phrench didn't retreat? They didn't surrender to threats and cave after being told there would be rioting, burning of cars and other displays of temper?
Good. Now they have a chance at a Republic, if they can keep it.
Bon Voyage, Le ChIraq.

J'accuse!!!! J'accuse!!!! France has chosen???? Uh, thanks for validating this farce of an election, Monsieur Chomstein, but, um, I think I'll just wait for Former President James Carter to give his Official Seal of Electoral Approval before I extinguish my Citroen, if it's all the same to you.
