After months of hiding out in Crawford, Bush will tour the Gulf Coast tomorrow to witness first hand the wholesale destruction his corrupt environmental policies have wrought. A slew of loyal lapdog reporters will accompany him, willing participants in a carefully choreographed photo-op scripted by Karl Rove. But will the cameras be on as he cashes the check for all the war profits he's made as working families struggle to keep their heads above water? Will they capture the look of orgasmic joy on his face as he surveys the piles of dead Democrat voters? Will the microphones record the screams - the horrible screams - as Bush rips the head off a hurricane victim with his bare hands and drinks the blood from his skull?
Of course not. The media will show us exactly what Rove wants us to see: Bush hugging paid shills with phony compassion. Bush filling sandbags with the little people. Bush distributing care packages to hungry children. He'll come off looking "presidential", and the brainwashed brownshirts of the blogosphere will eat it up. There will be no Cindy Sheehans to ask him why he wiped out New Orleans and killed so many black people. There will be no congressional inquiries by Katrina Widows for Hillary to demand answers. The water will recede, everyone will go back to drinking Bush's kool-aid, and the wealthiest 1% of Americans will continue to enjoy their tax cuts as if nothing had ever happened.
For the love of Gaia, people! We must not allow right-wing pundits to politicize this tragedy by refusing to hold Bush accountable for it!
I'm trying, Lar.
Sorry.

I think 20 to a bag, but I could be wrong.

Well Bush convinced me to get an SUV because he went to war to free the Iraqi people from their oil, but now petrol is over $3.20 a gallon if I don't show my RNC Rove Across America club card.
Honestly, I don't see how democrats can afford to drive anymore.

"...Bush filling sandbags with the little people..." - Liberal Larry
For the love of Gaia how many midgets from Larry's class will end-up in sand bags? For that matter, we have not heard much from Michael Moore. He was at a fat reduction camp in Florida (suspiciously close to the 'Bush Hurricane'). Will Bush shovel his deflated remains in to a large sand bag and cleverly dispose of him in some remote levy?

Dare we hope?

are you kidding me??? seriously please tell me that you are all just joking around and venting on some random blog and this is not representative of what you really believe ...
'politicize this tradgedy'???? it's YOU that is politicizing it by bringing bush into the whole mix ... HIS policious caused THIS??? are you kidding me ... hurriances have been around for hundreds of years on record ... and i'm sure thousands more ... and this wasn't even the WORST of them ...
'why he wipped out new orleans and killed so many black people' ... ok even if this was remotely true ... the fact that someone can control hurricanes ... wow ... that's some great power you're attributing to bush ... you really think he's THAT godlike?? i'm suprised ...
'bush convinced me to get an suv' - wow ... if you listen to bush all day everyday and you got "buy an SUV!" out of what he says, it's no wonder that you use your same smarts to blame bush for the hurricane - and wow ... IT WAS NOT A WAR FOR OIL ... GET OVER IT ...
and hey ... at least michael moore is doing something about himself by going to a fat camp ... maybe all you should go to a "learn to think" camp ... i believe they call that the RNC ...

FINALLY, THE TRUTH !!
Now we also know why Rove so slavishly answers the master's call, and why former liberals simply march in lock step when His Ear-ness smiles.
The repubs and are all vampires and neocons are Renfields picking at the spider's arouns Bush's feet !
The dems are to far to the right.
Where's my stake?

And those folks who did not leave New Orleans? Oh yeah, it's because The Bush Administration has made them too poor to own cars in the last 5 years. Their lives prior to 2000 were lived in mansions with fleets of cars!!

Nick, open your eyes! Bush controls the weather from the same satellites that Ari Fliescher put his Jooo beams on.And Rove wants democrats to eat at unhealthy fast food places so they'll die-off faster.
If it weren't for brave folks like Michael Moore and Morrgan Spurlock who are willing to publish outrageous fabrications about Chimpy McOily-Fascist, we would be in dire peril of thinking that Booosh actually cares about America.
Oh, and did you know that Bush is a Prebyterian? It's true! We should send his foriegn ass back to Presbyteria!
Posted by: Dr. E. Scientist, phD. | September 02, 2005 at 04:59 AM
Oh, soryy. I googled it, Bush is an Episcopalian. Well, he should go back to Episcopalia then, unless he is willing to do undocumented agricultural work and vote the straight democratic ticket like a proper illegal alien.

Where is the Katrina Kommission? Where are the hurricane widows-turned-meteorological-experts? New Orleans is a quagmire, and because the Shrub is busy stealing oil in the Iraq quagmire, he can't be bothered to go to a place filled with people with brown skin. If the Gulf of Mexico had oil, you know he'd send all the troops from Fort Polk to invade Louisiana to steal it.
Thank goodness for the outpouring of humanitarian assistance we've received from the international community! Without that, the only silver lining on this dark cloud would be the looting at Wal-Mart, where I got a plasma TV, "Grand Theft Auto, Pennsylvania Avenue", and a 400W black light.

Under deep cover, I sacrificed the orange robes demanded by my faith and donned a white sheet and hood. This allowed me to enter RNC headquarters with nothing but questions about where I buy my bleach. As I approached the conference room, this chilling song drove through my soul:
"Who controls the British crown?
Who keeps the metric system down?
We do! We do!
Who leaves Atlantis off the maps?
Who keeps the martians under wraps?
We do! We do!
Who holds back the electric car?
Who makes Steve Guttenberg a star?
We do! We do!
Who robs the cave fish of their sight?
Who rigs every Oscars night?
We do! We do!"
At the head of the table, wearing an ornate robe and headress sat their leader. His robes were stained with blood where his sloppy drinking had allowed it to roll over his mouth and down his neck.
As the crowd calmed from their revelry, he spoke.
"We have them in our palm. The blood has been spilled. The altar of oil has been sated, but our true master waits. Soon, my friends, soon. We shall spill more blood and the sheeple will beg for nucular power! Mwhahahaha!"
I ran until I could run no more. I'm afraid my friends. I'm afraid.

I was watching the "Today" show today and Edward Murrow Award winning entertainment reporter and our modern-day Mary Hart, Katie Couric, really let some FEMA guy have it - as she should have. You know that if you tune in to Katie and she has the little circular tortoise shell glasses on SHE MEANS BIZNESS in the FIRST DEGREE! I cheered and clapped as she laid into the guy who was pretending to send relief to people and lieing about getting it there as soon as possible! It's so nice to know that we have reporters such as Katie that not only are willing to stick small cameras up their butts on national TV but who are willing to let those puppets of the Bu$h regime have it in a time of need. God Bless you Katie - I will see you and Whoopi Goldberg at the next "womyn unite to kill your babies - even as they are in the process of being born" rally.

Isn't September 1 the opening of bird hunting season in Louisiana? Those ignorant red-necked Bu$h backing southerners have probabaly never heard of a helicopter, little on seen one before. No wonder they are shooting at them! If they bag one, how do they expect to cook it anyway with no electricity or gas? Barbecued helicopter is tough, with an avaiation fuel after taste. It has to be baked slowly in a temperature controlled oven. You haven't lived until you have tasted slow roasted helicopter with rotor gravey.
Notice how they are evacuating Democrat party base voters. Soon all that will be left in New Orleans is looters and thugs, IOW RepubliKKKans. Bush isn't going there to tour the disaster, he is checking up on the cleansing. Today it's New Orleans, tomorrow it's the rest of the country.

You know, if Katie had her glasses on, she should have pulled that sock right off KKKKarl Rove's hand and exposed him for who he REALLY is. Edgar Bergen and his soft sidekick, Charlie Full of Baloney.
Alas, she lacks the true investigative instincts of Geraldo.

Nick, get a grip. This is political satire. Which means most of us here pray at the Shrine of the Shrub.
Or the Gates of Gaia, depending on which way the wind, Michael Moore and John Kerry blow.

Everyone knows that the Jetwash from the evil gas consuming Airforce One spawned Katrina. Everytime it makes a trip to Crawford it spawns a tornado or a huricane somewhere on the planet.
Posted by: skindiver | September 02, 2005 at 08:52 AM
Speaking of spawning, there is an actual bona fide lawsuit against Planned Parenthood by a mother who says the group is liable for the expenses of raising her child since (deep breath, moonbat logic on the rise)the group failed to keep her from getting pregnant.
Ever hear of the word 'NO?'
Posted by: Cr'Q'T | September 02, 2005 at 09:01 AM
Don't be too hard on poor Nick. He hasn't opened his mind to the fact of the all encompassing neocon conspiracy. All events can be explained if we simply expand the neocon conspiracy to explain it. Remember that absence of evidence is not absence of evidence, or something like that, Bu$h deliberately keeps it confusing. For example, the airwaves are filled with requests to make donations to the neocon brainwashing organization, the Red Cross. Red as in red-state conservative. Cross, as in the Christian symbol. Who is more vulnerable conservative Christian indoctrination than exhausted and hungry people, no one. Money that could have been better spent redecorating Michael Moore's penthouse is being siphoned off to the Red Cross under false pretenses of charity.

I, too, have been affected by Bu$h's greed and avarice. I used to rake in 2.5 million per year while Clinton was President. I had a nice lawn care/tree trimming business in Phoenix.
But as we all know, Bu$h poisoned the grasslands of Phoenix and burned the trees of that once lush region by inventing a time machine and going back to a time before Man roamed that region- all for the sake of a few more derricks to pump out his precious O-I-L. I believe he did this just prior to 9/11 (which, as we all know, he planned and helped execute by sending supersmart monkeys aboard the airplanes. "Oh, how cute! Monkeys!"- the last words heard from each of the four planes.)
Bush must be stopped, whatever the cost.
